Internship Program

Owen’s Landscaping offers a structured Internship Program designed to train the next generation of landscaping and business professionals. This program is managed by our Executive & Management team and provides hands-on experience across multiple departments.

Interns gain real-world skills, exposure to business operations, and a path toward long-term employment at Owen’s Landscaping.

How to See if You Qualify

Owen’s Landscaping welcomes motivated young individuals who want to learn and grow in the landscaping and business fields. To qualify:

• Minimum Age: 15 years old

• Work Authorization: Must have proper working papers if under 18

• Consent Form: Parent or legal guardian must complete a signed internship consent form

• Required Documents: W-4, I-9, and any necessary identification (SSN card, ID)

• Commitment: Able to commit to scheduled hours and attend required training

• Transportation: Reliable means of getting to job sites or office
  
  

Tip: Not all internships are field-based; some may be office, IT, marketing, or logistics. Make sure your interests align with the department track you want.

Onboarding & Training

1. Submit Internship Application

2. Interview with Internship Coordinator

3. Complete required documents and consent forms

4. Attend Safety Orientation & Equipment Training

5. Assigned to department mentor for hands-on experience

6. Performance evaluations throughout the program

Program Duration & Schedule

• Summer Internship: 8–10 weeks

• Semester Internship: 12–16 weeks

• Leadership/Advanced Internship: 6 months

Hours per week: 10–30 (depending on age and department assignment)
