For our third action, we planted 40 mangroves in total at the Ekowisata Mangrove Pik 1 (The mangrove forest). Originally, we were planning to not do the mangrove plantation as Ms Priyanka pointed out the fact that we still had a lot of things on our to-do list, but we did it anyway. We planned bazaar March 2 to 3 at school. Suprisingly, we made a load of money from the stuff that we sold. We used the money made from the bazaar to buy mangroves for the mangrove plantation.
On Friday, March 7, we went to Ekowisata Mangrove Pik 1. There, we learned a lot about mangroves, like the fact that there are actually four types of mangroves. Then, we put on boots and gloves and headed to our area and did the rather fun activity of planting the mangroves.
