Art Installation

As a part of our action, we wanted to spread awareness by making something people could see, specifically, an art installation. We used plastic bottles from Grades 3 to 5's waste, and we learnt that this turtle could be a vision of what turtles might look like in the future -- made out of plastic. 

We worked together to paint, cut, and paste all the bottles. We first collected the bottles, and then Darren's mum cut them into half, and we then painted the bottles green. We then hot-glued the bottles on the styrofoam turtle, which we also painted. We then pasted bottle caps on the turtle's eye and arms.

We learnt to spread awarness about how plastic pollution is a big impact. And it might be a long-lasting impact, that can effect us furthermore.
