PSALM 139 / queen valera version 1960

1 Oh LORD, you have searched me and you know me.

2 You know when I sit and when I rise; you perceive my thoughts from afar.

3 You discern my going out and my lying down; you are familiar with all my ways.

4 Before a word is on my tongue you know it completely, O LORD.

5 You hem me in--behind and before; you have laid your hand upon me.

6 Such knowledge is too wonderful for me, too lofty for me to attain.

7 Where can I go from your Spirit? Where can I flee from your presence?

8 If I go up to the heavens, you are there; if I make my bed in the depths, you are there.

9 If I rise on the wings of the dawn, if I settle on the far side of the sea,

10 even there your hand will guide me, your right hand will hold me fast.

11 If I say, "Surely the darkness will hide me and the light become night around me,"

12 even the darkness will not be dark to you; the night will shine like the day, for darkness is as light to you.

13 For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb.

14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.

15 My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place. When I was woven together in the depths of the earth,

1 Has examinado mi corazón y sabes todo acerca de mí Señor.

2 Conoces mi sentarme y mi levantarme y has entendido de lejos mis pensamientos.

3 Conoces mi salida y mi descanso y todos mis caminos son conocidos por ti.

4 Dios Mio antes de que yo hable tu conoces lo que hay mis pensamientos.

5 Detrás y delante me rodeaste, y sobre mi pusiste tu mano.

6 Tal Conocimiento es maravilloso rebasa mi comprensión; tan sublime es que no puedo entenderlo.

7 A donde me iré de tu Espíritu y huiré de tu presencia?

8 Si subo al cielo, allí estás tú; si desciendo a la tumba,allí estás tú.

9 Si me levanto sobre las alas del alba, si me poso en el otro lado del mar.

10 aun allí me guiará tu mano y me sostendrá tu fuerza.

11 Podría pedirle a la oscuridad que me ocultara, y a la luz que me rodea, que se convierta en noche;

12 pero ni siquiera en la oscuridad puedo esconderme de ti Para ti, la noche es tan brillante como el día. La oscuridad y la luz son lo mismo para ti.

13 Tu me hiciste en el vientre de mi madre y formaste mis entrañas.

14 Te exaltare porque tus obras son completas y maravillosas y mi alma lo sabe muy bien.

15 Tú me observabas mientras iba cobrando forma en secreto,mientras se entretejían mis partes en la oscuridad de la matriz.
