Who I am?

Hello, my name is Obeth Antonio Miranda. I am 24 years old and I am from Chiriquí. I am graduate in Occupational Health and Safety.  Also, I have a postgraduate degree in Higher Education, and also a Master's Degree in Higher Education. I like to read, to teach, to travel and to eat pasta. I like to learn and take on new challenges, that is why I decided to study English since I consider it to be of utmost importance nowadays. 

Why did I decide to study English?

I decided to study English because I saw an opportunity to increase my job opportunities, besides the fact that it is the universal language for communication. On the other hand, since I was a child, I have always been interested in the language and I decided to fulfill the goal I had previously set for myself. 

How did the year 2020 affect your projects?

From the professional point of view, 2020 affected my financial plans, since I had to postpone my legal procedures to obtain my health professional qualification and be able to work. However, academically I consider that there was not direct effect.

What is one of your future projects? 

My future plans are to build my company dedicated to provide Occupational Safety and Health services nationally and internationally. Also, to dedicate myself for a few years to teaching at a higher level and thus contribute to society in the formation of new professionals with the development of skills to meet the demands of society.
