Unit 6: Physics

Physics is the natural science that students matter and its motion. There are branches of physics which also study energies such as light, sound, and waves. In class, we will study an objects motion through Newtonian Mechanics and the energies of electrons in a brief study of Electricity.

Newtonian mechanics describes how objects move through the use of force, direction, mass, and acceleration. These components can be combined to determine exactly how an object may move.

Electronics describes how electricity may be used to describe the function of electrical forces such as those found in modern living.

In class we will discuss how physics shapes and predicts the motion of all objects, natural and man-made.
