I felt your hand grasping the back barof my pedal brake bikedirecting my every moveso not to give me too much freedom to fallfrom your grace.
Even after I finally broke freethere was still a slight pullfrom a single string hanging-- unraveling--from the edges of chantilly lace, always too tight around the cuffs.
Now, my own mouth rounding wordsfar in the distance from youwords you did not strain to hear;instead a faint wave goodbye.
