"The Gilded House is a storytelling community that puts an emphasis on creating an immersive environment. We were established as a guild for Ashes of Creation but have evolved into a larger community cooperative. Our goal being, to engage with others in building a collaborative roleplay environment that is not limited by one concept, or guild. Currently our community is made up of 3 pillars that allow different characters to shape their own story."
House Calderon as a vassal house is an important piece of the Gilded House story, part of the larger narrative that is Gilded House. Pledged to House Kimura; the true "Gilded House", House Calderon serves as a proud vassal in the realms of martial combat. We have a variety of goals as a noble house, and seek players to join us to fulfill these goals in Gilded House and in the wider Ashes of Creation world!
House Focus:
House Calderon is an Empyrean family, with a new Kaelar bloodline being recently added to the family. The family is tied to their Imperial heritage. Empyrean are primary, but Kaelar are now a welcome due to the new bloodlines of the current generation. Bastards and adopted member may prove themselves through martial competence and adopting Empyrean tradition and culture.
A militant noble family stemmed in tradition, House Calderon aims to build its House Guard to fight, and augment the Obsidian Order however possible. It is not uncommon for House Calderon to send their fighting aged men and women through the Obsidian Order, to hone their combat prowess. The urge to reclaim old ancestral power leads House Calderon to tame, breed, and raise new Drakes and powerful combat mounts in Verra. During the seasons when House Calderon’s warriors are recalled, a rural life of agriculture and protecting the realm suits them.
Roleplay Experience:
House Calderon offers a medium-heavy roleplay experience, focused on military and noble military. Members of this vassal house will have opportunities to hone their skills in martial combat, and develop a sense of duty. Members will find plenty of opportunities to serve the House and the realm through service, and develop deep cultural Empyrean ties.
