Team Responsibilities

The NOSE will consist of three main elements: coding, circuitry, and 3D printing. Each member of our group will be in charge of one of these aspects of development. Cassandra was responsible for the majority of the code required to run the NOSE. This involved programming the pressure sensors and actuators to run independently for verification and then simultaneously for the duration of breathing cycles desired by our client for the project to become validated. She also was in charge of creating and maintaining the NOSE website. Nick helped with the assembly of the breadboard required to run all of the sensors and was in charge of creating the circuitry drawings. He also constructed the box frame of the bellows system. Taylor was be responsible for all of the 3D printing required for our design and incorporating the 3D printed materials into the bellows system. She was also in charge of creating the mechanical drawings and the DesignSafe Analysis. We all addressed the risks mentioned in this analysis and worked to mitigate them as we worked on our respective components of the project. As a team we we all conducted literature research that helped in the design and development of the NOSE.
