Pros and Cons:

Pros:

Snorelab is able to measure how effectively snoring is reduced in patients by measuring the volume of snoring while the patient sleeps with and without the NED device.

The app is cheap and easily accessible.

Cons:

The founders of NED LLC wish to monitor pressure changes caused by the insertion of the NED device which is not measured by this method

Exact volumes are not reported by exact units such as decibels, but rather in qualitative labels such as "quiet" or "loud".
