8-Man Football

8-Man Football fields 2 less Offensive Linemen and 1 less player eligible to carry the football.  

5 players must be on the Line of Scrimmage: WR, G, C, G, TE

8-Man Football uses multiple defenses.  NDR will play with a set 3-2-3 defense focusing on player development.

New York state high schools play 8-Man Football on a 100 yard x 40 yard field.  NDR plays on a 60 yard field to increase the number of plays in each game.

Millbrook/Webutuck Blazers and Pine Plains/Rhinebeck Bombers play 8-Man football.  Dover Dragons played 8-Man football 2018-2022.
