Instructions for presenters at Oral and Short Oral sessions
Each oral presentation lasts 20 minutes plus 5 minutes Q&As.
Each short oral presentation lasts 12 minutes plus 3 minutes Q&As.
Presenters for oral and short oral sessions are requested to bring their own laptops. Only HDMI connection is applicable for the projector of the conference room. Please note that electric outlets in Japan are type A.
Instructions for presenters at Shotgun/Poster sessions
All the presenters accepted for invited poster sessions are requested to make a presentation of brief introductions (within 80 seconds) of their works in the shotgun sessions (14:30-15:30 JST, 1st (Tue.) or 2nd (Wed.) August). Then all attendees leave the main hall and move to the poster site where the authors will present their works in more detail in the poster session (15:30-16:30 JST).
Instructions for the shotgun sessions
Presenters for the shotgun sessions are requested to submit one-page slide in PDF format (A4 size, landscape) by July 24th from the following URL:

The space below the poster number, title of presentation, list of authors and affiliations can be edited freely by the authors. Since the slides should be submitted in PDF format, the authors cannot include any video, movies, or sound files.
Each presenter in the shotgun session is requested to move to one of the front-row seats in the conference room 4 minutes before your presentation starts. When the previous presentation ends, please move to the podium immediately. Please start your talk within 20 seconds after the previous presentation ends.
The presentation material, i.e., the uploaded slide in PDF, will be displayed one by one by the symposium secretariat. Please make your talk within 80 seconds. When 60 seconds have passed, one bell will ring. Two bells will ring when 80 seconds have passed, then please stop your talk immediately.
Instructions for the poster sessions
The height and width of the poster panel are 2055 mm and 855 mm, respectively. An A0-size poster (portrait orientation) is recommended for your poster. To display your poster on the panel, please use pins which are prepared by the local organizing committee. Please note that tapes or glues are prohibited to fix your poster on the panel.
Please include the following items in the 2 or 3 top lines in your poster:

Your poster can be displayed on the panel from 8:50 of the day of your presentation and must be removed no later than 20:00. The poster must be displayed from 13:20 to 18:10 of the day of your presentation. A label in which each poster number (e.g., PS90) is written will be attached to the designated panel.
