About Me: Hi, I am a Neonatologist and Assistant Professor at LSU. I am originally from Texas but moved to New Orleans in 2021 and have since fallen in love with the city's rich culture and charm! I live at home with my husband and 15-month-old son. Outside of the hospital, you'll find me trying out local coffee shops and restaurants.
Medical Degree: University of Texas Medical Branch
Residency: University of Louisville
Fellowship: Neonatal Perinatal fellowship - University of Texas at Houston
Interests: I love my job. I feel privileged to be able to work with the smallest and most vulnerable of patients while standing alongside their families as we navigate the roller coaster that is the NICU.
Fun Fact: I enjoy traveling both locally and internationally. During medical school and residency, I was actively involved in global health training and was able to go to India and Ghana as a part of those programs.
Top 3 Strengths: Interpersonal communication, Reality TV watching, Empathy
