About Me: I am a Pediatric Hospitalist at CHNOLA and an Associate Program Director of the LSU Pediatrics Residency Program. I am a New Orleanian - born and raised here, but met my husband (also a New Orleanian) in Nashville during medical school. After my chief year, we moved to Long Island, NY where I was a pediatric hospitalist in Queens for three years before we moved back to NOLA in June 2020.
Medical Degree: Meharry Medical College, Nashville, TN
Residency: Louisiana State University, New Orleans, LA
Interests: I love PHM and medical education. I love being teaching and on service with the residents, fellows, and students because they keep me learning, too. I love my NOLA community and I'm determined to provide excellent care to our kids and families. I feel it's my privilege that I get to live and work here everyday. A sense of community and mentorship definitely helped me get to where I am, and continues to serve as my support now, and I want to provide that for others as well so we can all thrive and succeed together.
Fun Fact: I love to travel - my husband and I love exploring new places and eating all the foods. That being said, NOLA is still my favorite place on earth and Mardi Gras is my favorite time of year. I'm also a cat lady.
