The fourth and fifth meetings were held online due to the on-going Covid-19 pandemic. Despite the changing format, both meetings were highly productive and successful.
4th meeting: Joint Article
This meeting was primarily devoted to the joint article co-authored by all members of the network. In particular, the meeting focussed on the two case studies on minus constructions in American English and the existential there-construction in historical English.
5th meeting: Open Topic Meeting
We conceptualised the 5th meeting as an 'open session' meeting, during which members could decide if they wanted to discuss data with the others, present an update of their research, or do something else related to the network altogether.
