Staff Recommendations: 

On August 14th, a visual inspection by HDLC Staff found that a pergola had been constructed at the rear of 1921 Sophie Wright without a Certificate of Appropriateness. Accessory structures like this are not uncommon for courtyards at commercial buildings. For the aforementioned reason, Staff recommends retention of the pergola with the design to be reviewed and approved by the HDLC Architectural Review Committee.
