GLOBILENET:
DESIGNING FOR LOCALs & LEAD GENERATION
DESIGNING FOR LOCALs & LEAD GENERATION
Role: UI/UX Designer
Summary: A case study on designing a high-trust website for a local electrical service. The entire design was focused on a single goal: converting local residents into customers by building credibility, showcasing expertise, and creating a clear call-to-action.Â
I designed the pricing page to be upfront and clear. By showing fixed prices for common jobs, we remove user uncertainty and build immediate trust, which is critical for a local service.
This section was designed to clearly communicate the company's core values (like the "Workmanship Guarantee") and provide social proof through a gallery of "Our Past Work."
The "Request a Call Back" form is the site's primary conversion tool.
I designed it to be prominent and coupled it with a service area map to reinforce local expertise and capture leads.
To build a strong local connection, I designed an "About" page that introduces the actual electricians. This "meet the team" approach makes the service feel more personal and reliable.
Clear Call-to-Action: The persistent "Request a Call Back" form created a clear conversion path, making it easy for users on any page to become a lead.
Increased Local Enquiries: The new design, which focused on local trust and clear service areas, led to a significant increase in quote requests from residents.
Built Brand Credibility: The "About" and "Past Work" sections helped establish GlobileNet as a professional and reliable local expert, not just another anonymous trade service.
Reduced Bounce Rate: By providing transparent pricing and clear "Why Choose Us" values, users felt more confident in the service and were less likely to leave the site.
