Client had a bottle filler with a broken reject system. The bottle was to be held in place against a starwheel by vacuum. However the contents of the bottle quickly ate away at the internal valving. A different solution was required to divert the bottles.
The corrosive working environment dictated PVC and titanium. The rate and space constraint lead to a rotating and extending arm.
Two stage bottle rejector for filler. Pneumatic arm at bottom swings out and upper pneumatic cylinder extends arm.
Bottle is redirected to continue traveling with starwheel.
