I am a curious person more interested in how things work and are put together than their intended use. A machine is the result of trying to solve a problem or make a task easier to accomplish but how we develop a solution is the challenge.
When I was young, my father said to me "anyone can break things". There was probably something before and after that statement but his message of being able to fix something that is broken, or create something new, has stuck with me throughout my life. Those words shape my life.
