Challenges in Bioreactors

The problems here may seem to be frustrating for biochemists and biochemical engineers. However, quality control and regulatory constrains prioritize the public health as there is a lot of risk involved with creating a bioproduct for public use, such as a pharmaceutical. Mistakes in the production of bioproducts can lead to drastic consequences for the public. A good example of drastic consequences resulting from mistakes in bioproduct production is the uncontrollable outbreak of COVID-19.
