This problem asks to find the molar enthalpy of a mixture of ammonia, hydrogen, and nitrogen with a specified composition, temperature, and pressure. The pressure is at 270 atm, temperature is 550 K, and the mixture consists of 25% ammonia by mole, and the remaining part being a 1:3 mole ratio of nitrogen to hydrogen. The molar enthalpy was found under these conditions using a mixer simulation in Aspen Plus. In addition, a sensitivity analysis was performed to plot changes in molar enthalpy with respect to changes in temperature. The plot shows the molar enthalpy values as temperature ranges from 450 K to 850 K. The images below show the flowsheet, the stream results that specify the molar enthalpy at 550 K, and the sensitivity plot. It is clear from these images that the molar enthalpy at 550 K is -0.856kcal/mol.
