Action
Initially fire was known primarily as a means of destruction. When we learned to control fire and harness its energy, our civilization began to make rapid advances. This dual nature of fire as both a destructive and a creative force harnesses the spirit of our intuition.
The occasional forest fire is a benefit to the natural world. The rich soil nourished by the ashes allow for abundant growth. In our lives we can relate fire to the removal of useless or destructive habits and the subsequent creation of a stronger self. But it is for its qualities of heat and light that fire is most often used. The light of our intuition allows us to explore undiscovered areas. When we get an idea in a sudden flash of insight, this is our intuition at work. The heat of our intuition gives us our energy. Our primal nature gives us our instinctual drive to reproduce, create and expand.
It warms us, comforts us, and makes us glow. We move closer to it so we can feel it heating our bodies, then we pull away when it singes and burns. Fire takes us beyond this world and into the next. We depend on Fire to enlighten us, inspire us and encourage us to take on what needs to be done without fear or hesitation.
Fire is used to stimulate growth, clear away the old, and to bind family and friends together in peaceful harmony. It is the real of passion and passionate response and the force that brings us to the true purposes of our lives. Fire clears the path that begins and ends with the self, consuming all of our obstacles to faith and trust and leaving courage through trials of strength and faith in its wake.
It inspires us to connect with others in mundane, worldly ways as well as in otherworldly ways. It shows us our strengths by revealing our vulnerabilities. It is force. It is action. It is strength. Fire is the gift that inspires the next phase of the journey of self transformation.
They are people are in tune with the wild untamed forces of nature and understand the spiritual nature of man. They often feel compelled by some higher force to take off on a personal quest or adventure. They have no time to wallow in the feelings that pass through them. The spiritual fire burning within consumes emotion and allows the Fire person to move on, forgive and forget. They don't want to stay fixated on one project. They need to constantly feed their inner flame with new experiences and perceptions. Far more than material riches, Fire people desire recognition for their shining abilities.
Some thrive more easily in Fire than others. The gift they have to give is a natural connection to the spirit world that allows them to fully understand and forgive the perilous nature of humankind.
