I have been part of the Druid family for many, many years, and have seen many things. However, one event, and one Druid, remains embedded deeply in my memory, and never seems to fade... She took me under her wing when my original Guide left and was unable to tend to me, and she walked me home...

~Druidess Chimai...
It must have been about half a Yuri after I gained the title of Druid, and made roots in my home, our Circle. Before I knew, before I could understand, Chimai grew ill... My Guide was possesed by an evil spirit, the name of which was always whispered, always out of reach to my young ears. She was vile, greatly unlike herself. Rude, careless, her eyes shone with an evil unmatched. She would wander about the circle, mumbling, occasionally bursting out in curses and insults. Her body had been taken over by this spirit, and it happened so swiftly, that not even I, her pupil, could see. I remember when I first discovered her condition - I had gone to her to ask for help on my homework, which she had assigned not long before. I tapped her shoulder, inquisitively, and began to speak before she even turned around... and when she did, she grinned, and chortled, and left me silent. Before I could follow the voice in my head screaming "get away from her, get away!" I was thrown back to the grass, and she was turned away from me, again. I then saw the posts on ToL... "Chimai's evil","Sister Demon", and so on.
She remained that way for moons... but we did not confine her, she wandered freely about the Circle. Searches were held by a young Druidess named oBLUEBERRYo, searches to find a cure. I came close, I remember... using methods of love and friendship... but we eventually had to have a Shaman brutally flee this demon from her.
And it is she, my Guide, that I remember most of times long past. Her, and her demon. Our reunion was sweet... and that is where my memory fades. Aah, such demons come with age! I wish I could remember each face, each word, each moment of my life, but it cannot be so. I hope that this letter will assist in remembering times, before your memory, and may the possesion of Chimai never be forgotten!

~:. Forever Lost .:~
There once stood upon the hill, a child looking serenely down on a battlefield, peace seeming suffused through their being. Such blood and horrors as may never be found, in a place such as that. When the child was asked what they found so joyous, the child replied "The flowers are blooming."
Though some may wonder at what the child means, it is a simple lesson we too need to understand. Even through such horrors of a war, the land and the people who live on it, will heal. Scars may remain, but tomorrows rain will wash away the pain and bring succor to a barren earth... or heart.
Such scars reside on every heart that has crossed the barrier to take part in this amazing dance we call life. It is a place to learn, to be wounded, to experiance and feel... and when we've recieved, all that we can carry, we cross back to rest and renew our spirits. It is just such one of those moments of triumph, joy and eventual pain that my story is about.
Some may not remember, others may prefer to forget, a lovely druidess who found her way into our home and hearts for a brief about of yuri's. We stood beside her when the darkness of life wrapped heavy chains around her soul, and helped her shoulder them off again, to free the brilliance of her spirit. It was a soul set aflame, bringing youth to the old, strength to the weak and inspiration to everyone.
Young though this druidess was, she took joy and delight in bringing kingdom members together with her games, and never too proud to call on their help in times of need. Humbled at times when she first began, until her brilliance overswept the circle and brought the Shaman back to our hearts. Binding us together, to save her everlasting soul from the torments of possession. We alone were no strong enough, we needed help and the Shamans gave us that aide. They stood with us in a long ceremony, to bring her back to us all.
Through these feats, she rose to guide other druids into the path. She did this with a wisdom and understanding that took us by awe. The patience to teach young druids, guide older druids through new teachings that had been uncovered, and with a gentleness and strength of spirit that lifted the heart of many. I hold a small candle to the brilliance she once displayed in this circle, but that is some times the way of life. Though her ending was less brilliant then her beginning, there is no reason that Chimai should not be remembered. She was a true friend in many aspects, and a kind druidess. Even the best of us, can lose our way in the tangled threads of life.
