What is a Druid?
Druids are followers of Nature, protectors of Life, they are friends to all nature, and may it be beast, man, or plant life.
A Druid falls neither under the category of good, nor evil, preferring to remain neutral. Druids, however, are not inclined to lie. They are knowledgeable, and speak only truth when their knowledge is required.
Druids hold the Trees above all other flora as a deity. Druids have an obligation to protect these trees, as well as wild plants, crops, and to a lesser extent, our human followers and animals. Thus, a Druid will never destroy a forest or crop, no matter the circumstance.
Similarly, Druids avoid killing wild, or even domestic animals, except for self-preservation and sustenance. If a Druid observes any creature destroying the flora or fauna, it is unlikely the Druid would risk his or her life to prevent such destruction. Rather, it is probable that the Druid would seek revenge at a later date, as the opportunity presented itself.
Druids do not dwell permanently in Castles, or even cities or towns. All Druids prefer to live in Sacred Groves, Logs, or Stone buildings of a small size. Druids will also inhabit building complexes set in woodlands and similar natural surroundings.
A Druid's connection to Nature is the source of all his or her powers, both in society and in margin. By understanding that connection, a Druid's being is joined with Nature, and so becomes aware of all that is known to Nature, which are all things. A Druid then is a kind of Nature mystic. Go into the woods, and listen. The voices of the Gods are not silent. Their language is the blowing wind and waves of the great, pouring sea.
Druid magic is the result of a strong and healthy awareness of Nature, and the spirits and Gods who live in Nature. A Druid must understand the language that Nature uses to speak its wisdom.

Heart and Soul of a Druid
"Walk into the woods and experience Nature. This spiritual side will awaken with time. The more time you put into your treks into the wild the more lessons you will come away with. Walk through the woods... but do not simply walk through the woods. Feel the breeze greet your face, the smells of the wood enthrall your sense of smell, behold the majesty of Nature in all of her phases..."
"The ebbing and flowing of the pulse of the Mother in her full rapture of beauty and danger. Embrace this... feel the heartbeat of the Mother beneath your feet, touch an old Oak and feel the life force within. Witness a storm, observe the tornado, the hurricane, the earthquake, and the floods; watch the destruction and cleansing and witness the rebirth of the new. See a forest fire destroy a woods; witness the spawn of new growth that comes alive from the fruits of destruction. With death comes life. The eternal triplicity of life, death, and rebirth. The perpetual cycle of all things."
"The Druids are essential for our survival, without them, we would be helpless against all the things we cannot see. One of the principal obligations of the druids is to keep Man and Earth and Otherworld in harmony. The three are inextricably interwoven and must be in a state of balance or catastrophe will follow. As the repositories of a thousand years of tribal wisdom, the druids know how to maintain that balance. Beyond the forts and farms lurk the darkness of the unknown. Druid wisdom holds that darkness at bay."

Druids
To become a Druid, you must be, believe you are already are. Your ultimate goal should never be to become a Druid but to gain further understanding of what we already know. We respect Nature out of all, more than any king, queen, prince, princess. We know that she can wipe any creature out if she pleases to do so. She has her own way of governing and bringing justice, she has done it for centuries before any kingdom. We make do of what we have, never self -indulging or greedy. Her five raw elements are too powerful for any one spell, weapon, or staff to control; fire, water, wind, wood, metal. You cannot wield it without understanding them completely, and no man nor God will ever be able to control all except her. We frown upon those who try to destruct the balance Nature, however we rarely ever directly engage them; we know that justice will be served.
As a Druid you must understand, that even the most savage barbarians yields to wisdom. Druids dedicate much of their time observing, studying everything that surrounds them. Many times when Kingdoms rage in war the Druids are there to see the first to die and the last to survive, we rarely ever participate in the wars ourselves. We come to battles not to see death, we come to observe it many times hidden as creatures of the wild. Wisdom is the greatest asset one can have in life.
Druid always speaks the truth, they will never tell a lie. If you have then you are not a Druid. Druids bend time, bend life, bend the elements, but they do not bend the truth.<removes a stone triad>
