Social Media
Join in for Science chat on 'X' by following the hashtag #ASEchat, led by @ASEChat. This takes place weekly on Monday evenings at 8:00pm. This is suitable for primary and secondary science practitioners and leaders.
For secondary colleagues, you can also join in with subject specific chat by following the hashtag #ChatPhysics led by @ChatPhysics. This takes place weekly on Twitter on Thursday at 7:00pm. #ChatChemistry, led by @ChatChemistry is available every Wednesday at 8:00pm. #ChatBiology, led by @chatbiology is available every Tuesday at 8:30pm.
Subject Associations
The Association of Science Education (ASE) is the main subject association for science teaching in the UK. You can visit the website here https://www.ase.org.uk/
For subject specific support, there are also, the Royal Society of Biology (RSB) - https://www.rsb.org.uk/, the Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC) - https://www.rsc.org/ and the Institute of Physics (IOP) - https://www.iop.org/. These organisations are for support of the subject in all areas and not just education, but have educational sections and resources available.
Curriculum Hub
We are working with the main curriculum hub for science - the Science Learning Partnership, which is overseen by STEM Learning. You can visit the STEM Learning website here https://www.stem.org.uk/. The site has access to many free resources and to access them you will need a STEM Learning account. You can create your free account here https://www.stem.org.uk/user/register?destination=node/451564
