Charter

The Finance Committee advises the Chatham Woods HOA Board on Association financial management and long-term funding of CWHOA projects:

• Perform an annual internal review and recommend to the Board an external review or audit if it seems appropriate to have one.

• Update and maintain cost estimates and schedule for long-range financial plan of replacements (roofs, driveways, etc.); recommend policy regarding shared costs of capital replacements.

• Consult with Treasurer and Board on account reporting: report formats, transaction categorizations, etc.

• Perform an annual review of investment strategy and portfolio performance relative to market performance and alternative investment opportunities; recommend adjustments as appropriate.
