Scholarships

The New England Science Boot Camp Planning Committee is offering Fellow Scholarships for early career librarians, librarians new to science librarianship, library school students, and support staff to attend New England Science Boot Camp for Librarians. The scholarship covers full registration (including food and lodging). Lodging for the Tuesday night prior to the first day of Science Boot Camp is also included in the scholarship. Other expenses such as travel will be borne by the Fellow. 

Librarians and support staff are required to include a current resume and letter of recommendation from their supervisor which includes a commitment that they will be able to attend Science Boot Camp.

Students are required to include a current resume and a letter of recommendation from a library school instructor. 

Scholarship forms (including all supporting materials) must be submitted by May 3, 2019. Applicants will be notified by May 10, 2019.

NOTE: If you are applying for a scholarship, please DO NOT register until after receiving the May 10 email with the status of your application! 

Awardees will get information in the notification email about how to register.
