In order to remain in good standing with the School of Business, there are requirements that must be met by the end of your first year as a Neeley student. Failure to meet any of the requirements listed below will result in being dismissed from the Neeley business program and will require a change of major into something else.
1) Complete these courses by the end of your first year.
BUSI 10153 Business in Society
ECON 10223 Intro Microeconomics
ECON 10233 Intro Macroeconomics
ENGL 10803 Composition I
MATH 10283 Applied Calculus (see note)
Courses listed above may not be taken as pass/no credit. Must be taken for a grade.
2) Maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.75 or above. (3.0 GPA recommended to remain competitive)
3) Complete 24 credit hours by the end of your first year.
4) Pass Microsoft Certification exams for PowerPoint and Excel.
