What are the first-year requirements?

1) Complete these courses by the end of your first year.

• BUSI 10153 Business in Society

• ECON 10223 Intro Microeconomics

• ECON 10233 Intro Macroeconomics

• ENGL 10803 Composition I

• MATH 10283 Applied Calculus

2) Maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.75 or above.  (3.0 GPA recommended to remain competitive)

3) Complete 24 credit hours by the end of your first year.

4) Pass Microsoft Office 2019 certification tests for PowerPoint and Excel.

• Sign up through my.tcu.edu under the Academic Progress tile, then select the Neeley tab

• Complete PowerPoint by December (For students who start in the fall)

• Complete PowerPoint by April (For students who start in the spring)

• Complete Excel by March

Failure to meet any of the above first-year requirements will result in being dismissed from the Neeley business program and will require a change of major into something else.
