Nebraska Early Intervention
This website was created with the intention of streamlining information related to early intervention services in Nebraska. The content of this website will be particularly helpful to early intervention staff who are new to early intervention services, students completing internships or fieldwork experiences with early intervention staff, and early intervention staff who desire to be more aware of various aspects of service provision and resources available to the families they serve.
The Early Intervention Service Providers section of this website provides information about what roles various service providers play in early intervention, which laws and regulations inform service providers, what principles and practices are currently considered best practice in early intervention, and brings all these things together with a case study about a child in early intervention services.
The Early Intervention Resources section of this website includes a description of the early intervention process through the Early Development Network, a list of community resources available to assist families receiving early intervention services in Lincoln and surrounding areas, and a description of common diagnoses seen in early intervention with corresponding resources specific to those diagnoses.
