The brain is the sovereign of the body and is protected by blood-brain barriers (BBB) that restrict pathogen and immune cell entry from the periphery into the central nervous system (CNS) parenchyma.

Brain Tumor 

Brain tumors are the most common childhood solid tumors and the leading cause of cancer-related deaths in children.  Recently, brain cancer immunotherapy has emerged with diverse immune approaches such as gene-targeted, peptide vaccines, dendritic cell vaccines, oncolytic viruses, and immune checkpoint inhibitors. Despite these approaches, we struggle with the treatment of brain tumors.
