About the Programme
Newcomers4Nuclear Global connects emerging nuclear professionals from newcomer countries with world-leading experts β bridging the knowledge and professional gap that geography and circumstance too often create.Β
Students, researchers, early-to-mid career professionals, policymakers, advocates, and communicators with an interest in nuclear science, technology, medicine, safety, or governance. Both technical and non-technical backgrounds are welcomed.
Thirty expert lectures, two virtual nuclear facility tours, two applied practice exercises, a global peer cohort, and a formal certificate of participation β entirely free, delivered online to participants worldwide.
Our first edition confirmed what we believed: professionals from newcomer nuclear countries have extraordinary potential and too few opportunities to access high-quality nuclear education. This edition expands scope, depth, and geographic reach.
Programme content maps to the IAEA Milestones Approach for newcomer countries, the UNESCO 2021 Open Science Recommendation, SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 7 (Affordable and Clean Energy), and SDG 13 (Climate Action).
