NBHBA & RMNF Collaboration

A report had been made that there was damage to the Horse Style at Codshaw quarry caused by illegal off-road bikers trying to access the area which had caused ruts to appear both before and and between the sleepers as well as disturbing the sleeper closest to the moor. 

Members of NBHBA and Rooley Moor Neighbourhood Forum arranged a working party on Saturday 17th Feb 2024.as part of the ongoing commitment to maintain the fence line along Edenfield Road.  

Additional nails were added to the sleepers and the dislodged hard core was raked back to form a flat safe surface for anyone traversing the style.
