What the Doubles tournament is about

 For many years NBF ran monthly tournaments - singles, level & mixed doubles, but over time numbers dwindled.  However, renewed interest prompted us to devise a format playing level doubles (men's and ladies') followed by mixed - pairs are drawn and play round robin in groups with semi/final play-offs ... so a hectic afternoon.  Starting in 2010/11 the event has missed just 2 years 2018/19 and 2020/21 so this is the eleventh year of running.
