Films About Family, Identity, and Intergenerational Connections
Let's start conversations through stories
Stories have a unique way of bringing people together.
Through cultures and generations, films allow us to see life through someone else's eyes—to better understand the experiences, hopes, challenges, and emotions that shape who we are.
As part of the Bridging Generations (世代同歡) Project, we are curating a collection of films that explore family relationships, identity, belonging, and the evolving dynamics between generations.
These films are not meant to provide answers. Rather, they invite us to start meaningful conversations: How do we see ourselves? How do we understand one another? And how can we build stronger connections within our families and communities?
Whether you watch with parents, children, grandparents, relatives, or friends, we hope these stories will inspire reflection, spark dialogue, and create opportunities to learn from one another.
After all, bridging generations begins with listening to each other's stories.
More film recommendations will be added over time.
