Sat Feb 18 9:30 A.M.. Calgary's popular annual Snowy Owl Prowl travels east of Calgary to find Snowy Owls, Snow Buntings, Rough-legged and Red-tailed Hawks, Gray Partridge and others. Chances for both Prairie Falcon and the rare Gyrfalcon. This trip has drawn interested people from as far away as Australia who found us via the internet. Pine Coulee is a large body of water that can stay open in to December if the weather is not too severe. Meet at the first Parking Lot in the Glenfield area of Fish Creek PP on Bannister Road, in the southeast corner of the Canyon Meadows Dr.-Macleod Tr. overpass. Carpooling. Bring lunch.
