Xtreme Timber Trails(2024)
Xtreme Timber Trails is a vehicle racing prototype which utilises the Unreal Engine 5 Chaos Vehicles Plugin. The project focuses on main mechanics of racing games such as checkpoints and AI Racers as well as going into the systems of the chaos Vehicles Plugin to create a physics based bicycle vehicle that performs stunts and can be driven around the environment.

Creating Systems for the different game modes within the project such as Race Managers, Score Managers, and Race start and Finish Areas.
Creating Two different game modes for the project including a Free Roam game mode and race game mode featuring AI racers.
Creating and implementing AI racers that use similar systems and behaviours to the player.
Implementing and Designing an Animation Blueprint using the built in Chaos Vehicle Plugin.
Creating a Score and Race Manager that handles data and records it within the Race Area.
Influencing and structuring physics mechanics within the Chaos Vehicle Bicycle to perform stunts and movements.
Implementing vehicle handling features and designing new handling mechanics.

Designing and implementing a basic UI and main menu UI to help players navigate.

Sourcing and Implementing Sounds using Meta Sound blueprints in UE5.
