Each summer our 4-H agents will host a variety of affordable, local day camps. Each year available topics will vary, but we will offer a day camp for all age categories (4-H age as of September 1st). Day camps typically are 3-5 days in length and are held out of our Extension Office. Subjects can include living on your own, horses, art, sewing, cooking, environmental science, animal science, or even community service.
Day camps are announced over spring break and held weekly from June-August.
To sign up for this year's day and residential camps, please use 4-H Online.
The links below will take you directly to each camp's event page or you can select them under the events tab under your family profile.
You do not need to be a 4-H member to attend our camps, but all registrations go through 4-H online.
Callahan and Yulee camps will meet at those respective Extension Offices.
Campers must wear closed-toe shoes at all times and bring a bag lunch unless otherwise specified.
2026 REGISTRATIONS WILL OPEN IN 4-H ONLINE IN APRIL
Every year our camp counselors make a difference in planning, leading, and evaluating our day camps...but more importantly they make the difference for our campers!
We are seeking motivated, excited, young leaders to be a part of our camp counselor program!
Those chosen for this team will attend a one-day big training/planning day, make their tie-dye uniform, and directly impact this summer for everyone!
Applications are due May 1 to either Ms.Spencer or Ms.Kelsey.
Applications can be found HERE.
Florida 4-H University is quickly becoming one of Nassau's favorite events for our teens! 4-H U is a week-long overnight event for senior 4-H youth (4-H age 14-18) held at the University of Florida. Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in educational workshops lead by University of Florida faculty, explore career opportunities, lead community service activities, interact with youth from all over the state, and have fun while developing critical life skills that will help them become productive and engaged citizens of the communities, their country, and their world. There's also an inspirational keynote speaker, talent showcase, a dance, and a ton of fun.
Teens can also serve on the official planning committee for this event!

The 4-H Day at the Capitol Program provides youth with an opportunity to learn more about their state government and experience the political process first hand. 4-H members are highly encouraged to make an appointment with their representative, senator, or a legislative aide to talk about how the Florida 4-H Program has impacted their lives. During the day, participants will hear from public officials, spend time in the Capitol Building, and see their legislators in action.
This is a great trip to bring your classroom, family, or club to! There's something for everyone at this event.
Florida 4-H Legislators provides an opportunity for teen 4-H members to have a “learn by doing” experience in state government each summer.
During the five-day event, 4-H’ers will serve as Florida 4-H senators, representatives, lobbyists, media correspondents, Lt. Governor or Governor in a “mock” style experience. 4-H participants will get to experience what it takes for laws to be considered and passed or vetoed in a model legislative session at the Florida State Capital.
The purpose of Florida 4-H Legislature is to provide experience that prepares 4-H members for leadership in the American democratic process. Each participant learns, practices and defends the theory and process of representing citizens and making public policy.
Join us for this civic education event with youth from around the state ages 13 to 18 (as of September 1 of the current 4-H year).

Your youth-adult Executive Board planning committee has been hard at work re-imagining what is possible and necessary for our intermediate aged youth (11-13 as of Sept 1 of the current 4-H year). We realized that Intermediate State wasn't quite hitting the mark on giving our intermediates the unique and empowering experience that they deserve.
We are excited to now invite all 11-13 year old youth from across Florida to the University of Florida’s campus for a two night and full day leadership development experience. They will have the opportunity to connect with others from across the state of Florida and explore potential interests to ignite their spark in life. These interests will be explored through on and offsite engaging educational workshops that will connect them to career field experts unique to this experience.
We are working to update the webpage for the event on Florida4H.org and have social media posts to promote the event. Until then, we wanted to ensure you had the following information to share with your youth, families, and volunteers:
Who – Intermediate Aged Youth (11-13 as of September 1 of current 4-H year)
