Poultry Judging

Poultry judging allows youth to evaluate aspects of production poultry science including: egg quality, meat quality and identification,  and live bird critique. 

Contestants are divided into 3-4 team member groups based on age categories. Both team and individual awards are given.

The contest is held on Monday, October 16 with registration opening at 5:30 pm.

Livestock Judging

Livestock judging is a fundamental contest and class for any youth interested in agricultural market animals. This contest has youth place 5 classes or market animals based on conformation, quality, and suitability. Classes can include market steers, commercial heifers, swine, lamb, or goat. 

Contestants are divided into 3-4 team member groups based on age categories. Both team and individual awards are given.

The contest is held on the last Friday morning of the fair with registration opening at 8:30 am.
