2 DOF Racing VR Simulator
As part of a team, I helped develop the Virtually Integrated Training Assistant (VITA), a 2DOF simulator designed to train KS3 Bufori Karting students. This project combined mechanical and electrical systems to deliver physical outputs!
I focused on electrical wiring and software control, using tools like Arduino, SMC3, and Simtools. We went through a lot of experimentation, testing different microcontrollers, motor drivers, and power supply systems. This iterative engineering process taught me how to troubleshoot and refine designs effectively.
Beyond electronics, I gained hands-on experience with workshop machinery, including bandsaws, drill presses, laser cutters, and belt sanders. These tools, along with electrical hand tools, played a key role in fabricating and assembling components.Â
