HackHive 2026:
Best Hardware Hack Winner!
Brailliant is an interactive Braille learning device designed to make Braille education more accessible and engaging.
The system combines a tactile, servo-actuated Braille display and keypad with a voice-guided interface, allowing users to practice reading and writing Braille through real-time physical feedback. I led the hardware design, system wiring, and embedded software development, programming the ESP32 in C++ and building Python functions to display Braille patterns and transmit user responses. The full prototype was designed, integrated, and validated within 36 hours as part of a hackathon.
