Electrolux machines originally came to the United States when Bernard Milch imported then and created a laundromat named the "Wascomat". All the Wascomat machines are manufactured by Electrolux. However, their name really didn't get into any new machines in the North American market until the 2010's.

He started a laundromat in Brooklyn in New York City, NY, using these machines, and calling his laundromat, the Wascomat. Since then, Wascomat has become an independent brand for the North American market owned by Electrolux.

These are Wascomat's seventh generation of rigid mount washers and the first version of the current seventh generation machines. They came in two UI options, Classic control or the first generation Compass Pro controls.
The Wascomat classic control washers have a dial to show the cycle progress and came with five cycles. These were the last electromechanical washing machines produced by Wascomat/Electrolux and the last known of its kind to be produced. The Classic control machines use conventional style lifters in the drum instead of the Compass Pro machines which have perforations in them due to the drum being filled by the lifters, similar to Continental Girbau's AquaFall technology.
