Wascomat

Wascomat is an American subsidiary of Electrolux. The brand started out in the 1950's when Bernard Milch, a Swedish Man, imported Electrolux's Wascator washers. He called his laundromats, Wascomats. The name Wascomat was carried on throughout the 1960's and beyond, and was the way to sell Electrolux products in the United States. Around 2008, Electrolux started selling their OEM branded machines into the US market.
