Space And Experience.

This module revolved around spaces, experience and time. One gets to know how drawing as a medium can be used to specific attributes of a space. While drawing how a change in scale also helps in understanding the nature of space and how the objects inhabiting a certain space crafts its experience.

The faculty asked us to look for a space that made us experience comfort and a sense of freedom. The first space that comes to one’s mind upon hearing the word ‘comfort’ is mostly associated with activities like sleeping. Considering the second phrase ‘a sense of freedom’ one needs to think critically in terms of what is meant by the term ‘freedom’ as one may feel less freedom at his home than at a place inhabited by his friends and vice-versa.

Upon giving a fair amount of thought on both the concepts one comes up with their own definition and accordingly one expresses the space through their drawings.
