1. HOT FLASHES:

Can we talk Hot Flashes AKA personal summer moments? I've been having them regularly for many years and someone told me that if I wanted to get rid of them I needed to cut out caffeine, mainly chocolate, and I was like NO WAY, I can't do that.

Well, 7 weeks into Bright Line Eating and I've had 1 hot flash. 1. Only 1.

I'm loving everything about Bright Line Eating!!!

2. TMJ DISORDER

I have TMJ Disorder, which is basically arthritis in my right jaw. On bad days, by the end of the day, I can barely close my jaw as my lower jaw has swollen so badly it makes it impossible to close. That was BEFORE BLE. Almost every day, every single day I hurt.

Now, the two times my jaw has swollen was after I'd eaten food at a restaurant. I'm sure there flour of some sort in the dishes. Never again. Not my food.

I'll take my jaw NOT swelling ever again over eating things not on the plan.

3. Sleep!

For years I've struggled with insomnia. Endless nights up at 3:00 a.m. not able to return to sleep. I've tried Ambien years ago...little did I know I would call people at 3:00 a.m., not awake at all, and hire them for the company I was recruiting for.

I became dependent Tylenol PM. If I didn't have one or two, I couldn't sleep through the night. Then I couldn't fall asleep so I started taking melatonin.

I would wake up every morning groggy and exhausted. Yes, I slept, but it was a forced sleep.

I have been on BLE for 3 months, today. I have been free from any sleep medication/aids for a week now. I fall asleep and wake up in the morning, refreshed and ready to start my day. Thanks BLE!
