Welcome to my CSIT 101 project page. I am looking forward to showcasing my work here.
This site serves as my place for my projects in taking CSIT 101. I am delighted to be able to participate in a high-impact practice that additionally gets me out of my comfort zone and forces me to look at my computer and figure out what is on it and how to get it more organized.
On this page are some of the most important people in my life. On the left are my Mom and Dad with their great-grandchild, and on the right is me hiking with two of my girls.
My Mom reading a story to their great granddaughter Cori and my Dad acting goofy with his great granddaughter.
We went for a hike on a somewhat warm day in January a few years ago.
This website has been a great way to learn new things, and to practice them so that I won't forget how to do them. That was one of the original reasons I wanted to take the class. When you take a 60 minute PD course it is difficult to hold on to what you have learned. It was really cool and interesting, but you don't get enough of a chance to practice. In a class, I have been able to practice each skill several times. It took me awhile and seems funny now, but initially even getting the difference between having google products and a google drive versus Microsoft office was a challenge. Now I often still need to think about how to do things, but it is getting to be much more automatic. I really loved doing each type of digital media. It was interesting to learn the best way to embed each type of media. I really had a hard time with the image in Google Drive. In contrast, I upload YouTube videos all the time and that was much more straightforward.
