Walking promotes wellness -- both physical and mental -- and is a great way to get to school.
It only takes about 20 minutes to walk a mile. If you live within about a mile of school and you don't have a bike, just walk!

This map shows the approximate 1-mile radius around MVHS within the district boundaries:
1. Cross the street only at intersections.
2. Always look both ways and make sure motorists see you before you cross.
3. If walking on a street without sidewalks, walk facing oncoming traffic (generally the left side of the road).
4. Don't fall prey to the modern ill of distracted walking! Instead, enjoy your walk screen- and headphone-free.
