The Staircase is a mini-series about the death of Michael Peterson's wife, who "fell" down a staircase, and the possibilities of what could have happened.

There was so much buzz about this show. I think it was one of the newest and first true crime type show on Netflix. Many more came after, but it came out right at the start of the true crime obsession. The entire show makes it seem as the husband did it. And I definitely believe that it was him. He was sleazy, weird, and stupidly happy in every interview.

The theories that the show presents such as the fact that Michael Peterson is bisexual or the owl were just so ridiculous. I'm with the jury and I'm thankful he's in prison.

This show was mildly entertaining and I get the hype. But it wasn't creative and failed to tell a truly compelling or original story. Snore.
