During the second wave of COVID 19 wave, we were looking for ways to including women and girls. In our communities, many girls look forward to being mothers and being able to support their children and families with sewing skills. From those discussions arose the Tailoring project.
In its second year, the tailoring center operates regularly at the Murambi market and has expanded to a second location at Kyinyateke. This expands the number of women and girls MYHO can help. Each has a place in the community Trading Center. In May 2024, MYHO opened its 3rd branch in Kinzungu.
Our products are mostly to make uniforms for local schoolchildren, and with your support, we can help provide better clothing for school and daily life.
