The Murambi Orphanage Primary School is a pending project of the MYHO. We are seeking major donations to make this needed resource a reality for the many children in need in our region.

We have several separate projects listed below, but MYHO leaders and kids have regular social and mentorship activities. The core of what we are is a community, a chosen family of adults guiding kids to productive and happy lives.

Most of the youth in the community are unskilled, with limited understanding of enterprise development, basic trading, and how business works. And with no money to get started, they have little hope to gain skills.

Icon Media Studios (IMS) provides the equipment, mentorship, training environment, and positive peer group to give kids the head start they need.

Beekeeping is a practical project that creates honey, wax, and propolis for sale while protecting our environment. Most importantly, Beekeeping is an educational program to teach our youth humanist values of environmental conservation, skills for life, the workplace, and business, and a strong sense of teamwork and tangible accomplishment.

In its second year, the tailoring center operates regularly at the Murambi market and has expanded to a second location at Kyinyateke. This expands the number of women and girls MYHO can help. Our products are mostly to make uniforms for local schoolchildren, and with your support, we can help provide better clothing for school and daily life.
